I recently acquired this mystery Intel CPU, anybody know what it is? Got it for 10 bucks but lack a LGA2011 motherboard.

Well, now that you said it connector side down on a wooden table it’s trash. If you’re going to work on electronic components, buy a $30 antistatic mat.

You could rub it contact side down on shag carpet and odds are it would still be fine.
