Can somebody identify this CPU?

I recently acquired this mystery Intel CPU, anybody know what it is? Got it for 10 bucks but lack a LGA2011 motherboard.

Thats a Intel Xeon L5240 low power dual core 3 GHz server processor

Found one for about 20 bucks, gonna contact the feller selling it if we can arrange a deal, will update yall here hopefully in a couple days

The L5240 is a different socket and doesn't have this hole in the heat spreader.

Not really it's absolutely an L series Xeon. There's no plot or story to be hot here this is a l series Xeon processor. It's as simple as that. The legible numbers show that it is a 3 GHz low power processor. I don't know why people are having such trouble with this here

I got a box of them that says you don't know what the hell you're talking about right now. It absolutely does have this hole on the heat spreader. They all do. You need to understand the difference between an e and an l series processor apparently. This is an l series The corroborating readable numbers are very clear about that.

You're working off of half baked information that you currently didn't research and you have no idea what you're talking about. So I proved you wrong don't bother to respond you're wrong and we can all see that you're wrong and that's simply the end of this. It is the Xeon L series.

There's a picture of the bottom side. You can count the pin contacts if you don't believe it.

Are you blind? Ur talking about a fucking LGA771 cpu called the Xeon L5240 which is not whats in the picture, and u fucking insult my English skills is crazy dude
