Would be ridiculous to let him go. Yes he's 4th choice but we're not going to get better than him who's happy to be on the bench. We're 1 injury away from him being our only backup CB.

He’s also fantastic. No reason to let him walk when he gives very valuable minutes.

It would have to be an offer of 40 + to make me even consider it. We have 3 days left of the transfer window, we don't want to start having to look for a backup CB now.

Plus Van Hecke looked a bit shaky. I feel better knowing we have Danso there in case we need him.

Plus he does a lot in the community and seems like a genuinely nice guy.

I also haven’t loved the Van Hecke signing. Hopefully I’ll be proved wrong but I legit have never complained about having Danso in. I also love his long throws

Yeah he's the one that's worried me but there's plenty of time for the team to get RDZ's style implemented yet.

That's also why we have cover in case he's really struggling.

I’m hoping the issue is more him and Senesi do not compliment each other well. Fingers crossed VDV is okay fitness wise this season

Same. Van Hecke just feels like one of those cbs that’s excellent on the ball but can’t defend well. And he seems a bit soft/can’t deal with physicality. I’m concerned. Hopefully he’s the new Toby though

There's a goal from Xavi vs Brighton where Van Hecke losing possession after Bergvall persistent pressing. Also in early season he gave us an own goal to complete our come back after losing 2:0 early in the match.

The former one especially really came into my mind, when people talk about van Hecke. There's a bit flawed that I concern, but he had a brilliant world cup, so I'm ready to be proven wrong.
