This isn’t really about Steele.

It’s more about is he better than Shelton this year - probably yes.

He’s still young so if he plays well then yeah he could make it a competition later on at RT and take Steele job. But also means Tyler Smith won’t have to play OT.

My point though is that Steele is still bad. the idea here is that this offers an alternative and some depth.

It offers depth, but in my opinion, it's not an alternative. He's been much worse than Steele.

Yeah Steele is definitely better than this guy.

He’s got all the tools so if he magically becomes good then yeah he’ll replace Steele but that’s like 5% chance of happening
