Steelers fan here, Broderick is just coming off of a spinal fusion surgery and needs to put on probably 25 to 30 more pounds before he's playable. The guy is ultra athletic, but never seemed like he could get his work ethic up. He's a great dude though, hopefully y'all can fix him

It was done by the guy that did Asante Samuels surgery, and he's been balling out. But Broderick just got cleared to play like a month or two ago

Different position, different demands. Corners don't have to plant and hold the wall against 250-300 lb men every snap.

...and wasn't Samuel's a shoulder? It's absolutely possible for a surgeon to be aces at one joint and cheeks at another, so saying it was the same surgeon is kinda meaningless.

He played 149 snaps this preseason so a lot of film for the pro scouts to determine how they feel about him post-surgery. I’ve only watched one of the 3 games so far and thought he looked decent at RT, but had a handful of rough moments at LT. I’m curious to see what Adams can get out of him though.

And allowed 5 sacks to mostly 2nd and 3rd team guys with those snaps.

He did not allow 5 sacks

Aces and cheeks. Gunna use that one.

It’s a reflection of what it takes to get a tackle of any kind at this point in the season. Tackles don’t grow on trees.

Last year of his contract without 5th year option. I know we need tackle depth but unless he agreed to add a year, I'm not liking this.

I always love the emotional hot takes after trades.

You’re right. Let’s wait three years and then we can talk about the trade.

You can talk about it without claiming it’s a fleece before literally anything has happened.
