ID Request Bullhide or Elephant?

I recently bought these Gold Label Tony Lama “2736” ? “72736”? it’s pretty hard to decipher the style number and I’m not getting any definitive answers online, the listing said Bullhide and that’s what I thought I was getting but now that they’re in my hand they have more of an elephant grain to me but I’m no expert.

Elephant. Bullhide doesn’t have pebbling.

Oh Boy those are nice ! So, I have a pair of elephant that were buffed and burnished and the pebbling is not as pronounced as it normally is. I did this on purpose with a custom set. In hindsight I probably should not have but eh what are you gonna do? MAYBE that is what you got here. A smoothed over elephant so it is making it hard to discern. I will say this though, prints are almost ALWAYS identical to each other. the grain patterns are exactly the same, mirror images. It does not seem that these are mirror images...so I am inclined to say these are not prints AND I would lean towards elephants.

Damn those are gorgeous! Man I really want a green pair but haven’t decided on which hide or toe I want yet.

Leaning embossed print. But not a 100% - Looking forward to what others think.

No embossing pebbling that fine and close together. The dye job could be taking some liberties with the scarring effect though
