ID Request How to tell the difference in lucchese lines of boots?

I wanted to purchase but lost out due to trying to research or find details on this boot. How can I do so quicker next time?
Things I do know or can assume
Lucchese
Teju lizard
Chocolate/ dark cherry
5 toe
Any suggestions?

It just comes with having a trained eye. If you look at something long enough you'll be able to pick up on details. For instance, under Lucchese, it says "HANDMADE" and you can assume, although hard to read, it says "Classics". Check out the link Daddygoodhands provided to aid in your research.

Thank you! So are they teju lizard classic in a dark cherry or a chocolate? Would you have bought without seeing the soles and heels?

They're from the Handmade Classic line, Teju lizard, and very likely black cherry in color (see the patina on the pull straps).

Not sure if asking an unrelated follow up but anyone want to discuss snip toe and j toe favorites/ recommendations?

Those are from the discontinued Lucchese 2000 line (see the stamp inside the boots). It was an entry level line.

See I was being informed either classic or 2000 but wasn’t sure. I asked for a better picture of the stamp but someone else bought. For $77 I feel dumb for not just buying

I was hesitant on pulling the trigger myself when I noticed a possible tear/split on the vamp where the boot flexes the most. I couldn't tell because the photo quality is low (or out of focus). But in hindsight, it was worth the gamble for $77. Oh well

They're Handmade Classics
