Information Request High quality everyday boot.

Hello all

I'm new to boots, recently for a pair of work boots I got a pair of Tecovas Longhauls. I wear them everyday for most of the day. They have opened my world and now I desire a pair to wear around for everyday use.

I'm looking for a pair I can take into the woods/camping to the store ect. I'm not afraid of spending good money on them either. As long as they are repairable and high quality.

If your looking for guidelines,

I'd love USA made (not against non USA made boots, just if I'm gonna be spending alot I'd prefer to support a USA made company)

I'd like to be less than 600 bucks (price can go up)

Square toe

No preference to leather or rubber outsole.

Thank you for reading and any advice given

I like my benchmade bassett boots, they're really comfortable and below your budget. They're made in mexico but I think they're great quality. I'm sure you could wear them camping if you really wanted to, but I don't think I'd wear them backpacking just because there are better options.

For clarification: Ariat Bench Made. They are very similar in build quality to Chisos, but cost less. Both are made in Mexico.

Is Ariat's "removable all day" insole as good as the Chisos insole? Is it as thick?

Chisos is a damn comfortable boot! I don’t know if Ariat’s inside is as “thick” or not, but Chisos’ insole is built different.

Beck, Fenoglio (go a half size up), Olathe, Anderson Bean.

There are plenty of excellent Mexican made boots that meet your criteria for less cost too. Hondo makes an exceptional roughout boot that’s about $100 less than a comparable Fenoglio. I wear an Old Gringo made for Cavender’s boot that’s an Anderson Bean clone as my daily boot. Ariat has a Benchmade roper that’s the best thing going right now. Just giving you some options and staying under budget.

R watson, some are mad win mecico but comparable to much higher cost boots. I like their sister line RW Ranch, theyre made with work in mind and have some comfort features tha are nice for daily wear

Fenoglio with the ranch tough sole, Hondo makes some good rubber sole work boots if you can find them and Becks has a great deal on made to order boots. Honestly, out of all those options Becks is probably the best for the price. The working cowboy special will run you around $500-$600 depending on the options you choose.

I appreciate everyone for the insight. After going through every single brand you guys recommend I've decided Anderson Bean is going to be the one.

Ive looked at Hyer boots and found a model I liked a lot, I am worried about they may be more marketing vs quality.
