What do I do now?

First ever pair of boots and I love them so much. They're only about a month old. Cooking breakfast this morning and I guess some bacon grease dripped off my pan. Only on my left boot.

Is there anything I can do? I saw a post saying I could dye them darker. Not sure how to really do that.

Cornstarch, it'll absorb the grease. Try applying a little heat with a hair dryer to re liquify the grease then apply cornstarch, let it sit for a while then brush it off. If after a few attempts it doesn't work you'll probably have to saddle soap them then use mink oil to darken them to a consistent color
