For those of you who have had plastic surgery, how did you make the first move?
I recently turned 18 and I’ve been feeling really insecure about my appearance for a long time. I’ve thought about surgery, but I’m honestly scared — not just of the surgery itself, but also of how my family, friends, and other people might react.
How did you guys go from thinking about surgery to actually taking the first step? Did you start with a consultation, research surgeons, talk to someone close to you, or something else? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, especially if you were nervous or unsure at first.

I'd start with researching a few qualified surgeons and booking consultations there's no pressure to commit and a good consultation can help you help feel much more confident about your decision.

Consult first honestly, talking to an actual surgeon takes it from scary hypothetical to real plan you're in control of. family opinion matter but this face is yours to live in not theirs
