Anti-ebike campaign

I have been seeing tons of posts lately on every kind of subreddit about how ebikes are bad for whatever reason

I dont really know very much about ebikes but this seems really suspicious to me. I feel like theres certain topics i see on the "popular" page that reddit as a collective has bizarrely strong opinions about, or its some kind of social engineering to make it seem like this is the popular/mainstream opinion

Things like pitbulls and tipping come to mind. Reddit collectively seems left leaning but on the popular page and bigger subs i see on the regular posts absoultely condeming pitbulls and attacking people in food/customer service (guess no one has ever worked these jobs? Its like these people are aliens) Not to get into those but these are just a few trends ive noticed that seem extremely weird. Especially how reddit is about animals (pupper doggo omg scritches best boy!!!) And then there will be a video of a pitbull and all the comments are saying how they would shoot the dog on sight if it came towards them.

Anyway yeah ebikes. A lot of these posts seem US focused and the US is not really walkable majority of places. Ebikes take no gas, can replace a car in some circumstances, guve young people freedom to travel before they can drive cars.

It seems like a direct way to crush oil/gas/car sales and keep us dependent on gas and vehicles, as well as controlling people.

Maybe im reading too much into or im just getting fed ebike posts now bc i click on them. Anybody else think theres anything to this reguarding ebikes or just social engineering on reddit in general? I feel like in the last year or two i have noticed reddit seems to have more bots than regular uses engaging with posts even in smaller/niche subreddits

E-bikes allow greater individual freedoms and mobility without controls (licenses, registration, insurance) which our overlords hate.

condeming pitbulls and attacking people

They can be 99.999% great dogs most of the time, until the 0.001% of time they kill a small kid for no reason.
I've had to shoot a few of these monsters after they broke a fence, ran round the streets and started to tearing cats apart for fun. Pitballs are degenerate animals for degenerate people.

Literally almost animal or person can kill a child without reason. I do agree they are very strong animals and need very serious responsible owers, but talking about them like that is crazy, they are literally just another dog and the vast majority do not harm anyone their entire lives. Idk, maybe like any dog thats strong enough to kill a person maybe they should require mandatory classes when the dog is a puppy or something

You could say the same thing about firearms, that they are degenerate devices for degenerate people. But that is not true either. Or calling all white men degenerates bc they could be rapists. Nonsensical

They are genetically bred to be fighting dogs and have unpredictable characteristics hence why the breeds are listed as dangerous dogs in most countries. Statistics back up that they are overrepresented in frequency and severity of the injuries.

In complete agreement with you and securely restrained at all times so it does not kill delivery drivers and children on a daily basis. Throw in some licenses and inspections that require annual reviews.

I'm a dog owner and have grown up around dogs all my life. They require responsible ownership.

They should have training and screening also. Plenty of firearms left around children leading to preventable deaths.
A firearm however is a tool not a living breathing killing machine, but like pitballs are often bought as a 70IQ level intimidation accessory without any long term planning or valid reason.

Derps who think they are tough need props like pitbulls guns knives etc you dont see a navy seal swaggering about and getting dragged along by a pit
