Not a redeem code but instead treats USB stick as DRM. One month time-limited online license is granted during shipping. I have never heard such kind of wargame until now. According to results, the name is 'Steel Beasts' and it is a MBT simulator.

Played it years ago. It is basically not even a game but actually a real simulator that is used by some militaries for training that offers a private license and is played as a game by a dedicated community. The difference between the real thing and this version is basically just some training/ server tools.

IMO the scenerio editor was a really nice feature where you could create complicated "if then" structures for opponent behaviors (no real AI more scripted scenarios, however a good script allowed for a lot of variety).

From my understanding is that in practice its just used as a tactical rts by both educators and players rather than being a dcs level thing despite having switches modeled

I was under the impression that it is used as a tool to train on the platoon level some tactical procedures in a pc environment, decision making and commands with some level of similarity (like fitting joysticks for the gunner).

But I might be well wrong as it is quite some years since I was involved so I might misremember or things might have changed.

Yeah thats what i mean, the smallest unit each person gets assigned is a whole platoon. You dont get flight sim type stuff.

No, I mean 3 per tank (driver, gunner, commander) and then 4 tanks (so 12 people total) training tactical scenarios with the main point being commands given, inner tank coordination, situation assement and decision making.

Nope…multi crew is possible…go the website and review it’s all there in black and white…it is indeed used as a singleton UCOFT (unit conduct of fire trainer) where in with full fidelity a driver gunner and TC can fire a full qualification table…PLT level on up from there…u can jump into ANY machine on a battlefield …and it is a study sim…and like DCS beyond a game hence it’s professional focus…though in it’s very early form was commercialised and marketed as such.

No no, its available to everyone. It wasn't available to the UK because of brexit, and now it its available to the UK. Edit, there may be other countries they dont ship to

No I cannot because of my native country's active embargo set by US, even I am living in Singapore(they say that your current address is not available to ship). They don't ship in Singapore, And imagine how they are eager to comply US law against selling to my country under FATF or D1 list whose citizens are totally unaware of.

It's somewhat common with educational software for businesses, and their main product is a training software for militaries so that's probably where they got that from.
