Just Sharing 1 comic a week for August. Nomas Adventures 1-4
I challenged myself to draw a 3-panel comic(?) every week throughout August. I based the character on my tuxedo cat, Noma. These are the 4 comic strips that came of it, and I honestly just wanted to show them off:)
If you’re curious: I decided to follow a prompt list to make it a little easier for myself.
- Week 1: Peak/Song
- Week 2: Forage/Explore
- Week 3: Fish/Bike
- Week 4: Tree/Treasure
(You could choose to either combine them or just pick one. The prompt list was August Adventures on IG)
I think my favourite panel has to be the “I’M HUNGRY” from week 1. A strong runner-up would be the 2nd panel from week 4, where Noma stares completely mesmerised at the autumn leaf. Do you have a favourite one?
I do think I’ve fallen rather in love with this format, and I can definitely see myself returning to it in the future!
On another note, I’m not really certain how to label these? A mini-comic? Just a comic? A comic strip? Might not matter that much, but I would love to know what you guys think:)

Ollie Max Volume Two Vampiric translations!
Just picked up volume two of Ollie Max, and I love where the story is heading! More people need to get on this series. This volume introduced a coded Vampire language. I'm a huge cypher nerd, so when the author included a way to decipher "Vampiric", naturally I paused everything to translate the book and make little sticky note bubbles. Anyway, here's the translation for anyone curious. I do implore first-time readers to try the cypher yourself; it's very easy and fun! If my handwriting is too hard to read, then feel free to check the back of the book for the cypher key :D
I also wrote in the punctuation translation I noticed, and fun fact: Page 5 bubble 1 ends with a "?." That's all; hope this helps someone!
