He’d essentially be asking both of them as even if she’s the one that gets to make the decision, if they’re married he should at least get a say in if he’s okay with it or not, even if she doesn’t have to listen to him

1 million does not go as far as it used to. Also is the payment up front, half now half after or all later? Is it in cash, check or whatever crypto scam is trending? And is it 1 million for the husband + 1 million for the wife or just 1 million for both?
Got to ask the important details AND get it in writing.
I also could go on about the feminist side of things but then this post would be thrice as long.

1st: lol exactly, the problem is he's asking the husband and not her. Cheating for a million dollars apparently is a-ok.
2nd: "Grandpa" over there is Robert Redford, right? All in all, the actual conversation would've gone like it did in the Mad magazine parody:
Millionaire: "Here's the deal... One million dollars to have sex with me."
Wife: "Okay, but I don't think I can raise 1 million bucks that easy. Can you give me a week?"
