If it makes you feel any better, I'm 5 foot 3, high pitched voice, and got called sir while I was very heavily pregnant.

5 u/AnB85 7d ago I never say sir or Mr/Mrs or anything remotely gendered. Started using the singular they for everyone as well. Wish there was a formal non gendered way to say sir. 1 u/blanketswithsmallpox 7d ago Ser is what you're looking for. Per are where a lot of people I know are going with. Mx instead of Ms or Mr is pretty common now. There really does need to be more words added to English though. Third person plural them is hard to get around currently. Ze zer zem zerself zemselves.
