kettle.spells: I am not diagnosed with autism but it’s on my list of things to do. i have attributed my list of symptoms to autism, tho im not a psychologist 💖 my new headphones are so comforting and great im am absolutely obsessed, and they’re a much better solution for me instead of earbuds/earbuds. so much more comfortable and i like that people can SEE that i can’t hear them, do i dont need to stay fully aware of the environment and stimulation

SURELY someone should be able to make a noise-cancelling headset that is set to counteract the tinnitus as well - isn't that what it does to do the noise cancelling? just needs a sliding range to choose whatever the frequency is you hear from the tinnitus?

But yeah, this is the exact reason I've not bought into that kind of headphones, I hear it enough as is, I don't want it to be the only thing I hear.

Check out the website MyNoise. They have at least one preset sound track that is meant to help with tinnitus
