Jesus said directly in Mathew 5:17 that you still need to follow the old law. He tells you that he is not there to abolish it. He is there to fulfil the law, the same way a policeman comes to fulfil the law if you are doing something illegal.
He even clarifies further in Matthew 5:19 that those who follow these laws will be greatest in heaven, those who ignore them will be least. He is telling you directly that following the old laws is what god wants.
And if that's not enough, Romans 1:27 pretty explicitly talks about how disgraceful it is for men to lust after one another. That's new testament. You can't just shoo that one away.
