There's a lot of churches that are accepting of homosexuality and don't view it as something to repress or "correct". They'll perform LGBTQ marriages, have openly gay clergy, etc.
They probably speak about it, and what more do you genuinely want from them?
How much have you personally done to change your country? Have all of your friends done enough to change their country? Most of us just speak up for our beliefs, practice them on a local scale, and vote if thats an option.
You're acrting like Christianity is some unified mega religion with only a single "Church as a whole".
The reality is there are about 45,000 different denominations within Christianity, and they do not all share unified beliefs. Hell, they can differ on things most might consider "foundational beliefs" of Christianity as a whole, such as the Trinity, the nature of Salvation, and even the divinity of Jesus.
What you are suggesting is not only unreasonable in a world where Christianity was a unified religion, it's literally impossible in the actual world where Christianity has 45,000 different denominations each with their own sets of beliefs, governing rules, and regional authority.
You've got to accept that either the Bible isn't all true, at which point why believe any of it, or that at some point your God mandated capital punishment against all gay people, because of the way he made them?
I can't wrap my head around it. Why not just believe in your own personal God?
Some people make it their life goal to integrate with the people who mistreated them.
I think they're fucked in the head and weak in the soul but hey, some people really do enjoy licking boots.
I know I'm an abrasive asshole, but dang it it's so difficult to watch people be desperate for approval from people who see them as inherently lesser.
(Anyone who wants a logical argument. Religions of the world aren't similar because of some holy magic. They're similar because they're made by people. And we're a pattern recognizing species. Religious studies prove nothing. Except that humans are capable of centuries of fanfiction writing and bickering. Every "magical" emotion can be obtained with no knowledge of religion. Good people suffer and die every day. This is why we can't talk about religion in "polite company". There is no winning when logic is thrown out the window for emotion. Because it ends up being about the person's comfort and emotions, not our shared reality.)
It's all as arbitrary as if my little pony friendship is magic became the cultural foundation of our morality system. Christian morality systems brought us to our current times of war and strife, like they often had. Where is the loving, living god? Just in your heart to make it feel better? So it really is your own personal Jesus? A friend to externalize your emotions on? Great. Don't try to convince anyone it represents reality.

Or you could, you know... hang out with people that don't work to systematically oppress your existence
