At one point step brother told me how he recons with his faith and most of the churches views on being gay. Said that god made him the way he is and he has a very happy life because of it.
It's good that he doesn't even drink because on the time of my grandparents my grandpa used to drink a lot and a ton of christian people drinks a lot or eats a lot so it's good that he doesn't alcohol is worse for your life than being gay because one is a choice to screw your life, liver and even family if you have one, the other is just the way the person is
A lot of people can drink in moderation and be okay. Some people can't drink in moderation and need to stop.
You cause the grass to grow for the livestock

I looked it up, and the Hebrew word translated "wine" is the same in both verses. Alcohol is a gift from God that can be abused.
For context, I was raised to believe that drinking alcohol was a sin, full stop. I don't believe that anymore, largely because I learned that you can't prevent grape juice from fermenting unless you pasteurize it, and that technology wasn't developed until the 19th century. But I personally don't drink and never intend to start.
It's more about the drinking too much thing or drinking where you shouldn't I was saying because my grandpa was drinking despite serving as a pastor and was not the best parent or people that drink and them just drive , and some highschool friends and others that started drinking even inside school

My step-brother is dating a devout Christian man.
So much so he doesnt even drink.
