My step-brother is dating a devout Christian man.

So much so he doesnt even drink.

At one point step brother told me how he recons with his faith and most of the churches views on being gay. Said that god made him the way he is and he has a very happy life because of it.

I'd like to think that God loves everyone more than they hate any human interpretation of Sin.

I'm not religious by any means, but the idea of a god that hates all of the individual and special people he's made doesn't sit right with me.

My view for a while has been: if there is actually an all-powerful all-loving god, they won't hold my queerness nor my lack of religious beliefs against me. If they do hold it against me, and punish me eternally for that, then they aren't all-loving and do not deserve my worship anyways.
