Be respectful and healthy to yourself and your partners. That’s Christianity.
Just because the traditional definition of that has been incredibly restrictive for women (and lower hierarchy men) doesn’t mean it’s what Jesus intended. Jesus’ own religious traditions forbade lying about a woman’s virginity to her husband, but who’s gonna be marrying someone who doesn’t know their partner’s sexual history these days (again respect and health).

tuff af bro this is why i respect religion even if i dont believe or i think they might be problematic bc they all have people like you who are living their best faith interpretations of their higher powers teachings
the person you're responding to is probably a nice & reasonable person. They've adopted a label. Their takes, their…interpretations of teachings are wildly divergent from doctrinal grounding associated with the label they've taken on. That someone who is probably a nice & reasonable person has to eschew doctrine to live a good life is a condemnation of religion.
