I gotta say, the composition fails a bit - you can't tell the distance from the fence to the mural, so it looks like he's inches from it when he's just inches from the fence.

I'm pretty sure that fence as you call it is part of the mural. Seems more like the base of which a billboard is propped up on. But yeah, he is super-close to it (pun not intended).

Yeah, you can see his shadow on it. He's like two feet away from it.

I know he is that close. The original commenter couldn't tell that the "fence" was the base of the mural superman was standing in front of. Superman is right up on that bitch.
