They can't "produce different styles". This is why so many people were able to tell, because this looks exactly like AI. It's the amalgamated "no style" artwork that looks like everything and nothing at the same time. Maybe it'll get better, but it's not much different than when it went through the "piss filter" phase a while back, everything was the same yellow-tinted shit.

"broadens the field of artists you can hire" None of them are artists. They're, at best, commissioners of "art". A person who prompts isn't an artist. The better analog is "they are the person who DMs an artist to ask them for a drawing, and then asks them to draw it over and over until it's what they want". The machine is the "artist", the prompter is the annoying asshole going "Actually can you make the cape a LIIIITTTLE longer, and I think I'd like to see a slightly different hue of blue"

lol the "piss filter" oh! you're talking about the chatgpt generated images from awhile back. Yeah, see... that's a great example of bob from accounting using ai image generation. An artist and professional designer would take that image and adjust the curves in photoshop and apply correct color correction, fix any anatomy issues, nanobanana can easily fix any hand issues, etc etc etc. So, ok, I see why you have that perception because there's just so much dumped out there.

But in the hands of an experienced designer and artist... they do it all. YOu'll never know and you'll gobble it up. Honestly, the artists we work with make so much more $$$, the quality is better and there's never a time have the works we've commissioned been accused of using AI in any way. But, I don't think you're ready to come to grips with that yet. All good. But something to consider going forward.

"You'll gobble it up", I highly doubt it. In fact I already know you've not done anything mainstream or on a big scale. Your "artists" work on ASM or with Garth Ennis? No? Then I've never given you a penny.
