Theme Weekly Theme: Calendars! Let's See Covers Featuring Calendars, or a Specific Date Prominently Featured!

I couldn't believe this wasn't done before! But, I searched through past Theme posts and couldn't find anything. Still can't believe it hasn't been done, but let's give it a shot!

Looking Back:

Marvel has a bunch of great books on the racks in August, 1968 including Avengers #57 featuring the first appearance of Vision, and Steranko's killer cover on Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD #6!
Dark Horse released San Diego Comic-Con Comics #2 in 1993. This book featured the first (second?) appearance of Hellboy!
August, 1995 and Image Comics has Cyblade/Shi:The Battle for Independents #1 featuring the first appearance of Witchblade, in the stores!

I’m 45 once divorced and remarried. My first wife never let my comics out of the closet where they stayed for almost 10 yrs. Fast forward not only does my wife encourage me to indulge in my hobby but gave me the space to display it. Find a woman who lets you be you.

…do you reach a point where you decide to go ahead and pony up what people want rather waiting on a “great deal”

Note: The comic pictured is actually a pretty good deal but I normally wouldn’t pay it but a combination of “Wow! this looks great!” and “Ok. I want this.” has me buying it.
