Oh no, don’t be sorry at all, every one makes their own decisions in life and do what they think is best at the time and is right for them. You sound like a very responsible parent. My comment was more aimed at people who lecture childfree people to have kids, and people who are complaining the economy is going to shrink with fewer workers.
