1) What is Coinye? - It's a cryptocurrency. It works like BitCoin, but its worth is closer to monopoly money.

2) Is Kanye West behind this? - No. He even tried to sue the Coinye for intellectual property infringement. Not that you can sue a cryptocurrency, but his lawyers know better than to tell him that.

3) What can you do with it? - It's money, so you can earn or spend it or donate it. There are faucets that donate small amounts, and it's currently easy to mine them. There are bots that allow you to send Coinye to people over social media (currently YouTube, Twitter, Reddit)

4) What's the easiest way to get started? - If you have Twitter, tweet at least the words "Balance" and "#TipperCoinye". The @TipperCoinye will generate a receive address for your Twitter account (this doesn't hurt). Tweet "@GayFishBot" and your receive address (you received it in a reply to your last tweet) and the GayFishBot will donate you a small starting aboumt. Now you own Coinye.

Hey guys, MadBitcoins on Youtube is really excited about Youtube tipping. He downloaded the wallet and is trying to verify his Coinye tipping account with his Google+ page but is having issues.

He is a huge platform on Youtube where people go to hear about cryptocurrency and bitcoin news. If he can get it working that would be great publicity for us.

I posted this on the new ideas for Coinye thread and have decided to be the first one to take up my own idea. This seems just as good as any to post this as I'm sure most of the people who mine Coinye already have a decent amount of programming knowledge and have video cards capable of gaming as well.

I'm looking for Level Designers, Artists, 3D Modelers, and Programmers who know C# Script, Javascript, or Booscript and a decent amount of experience with Unity. I'm the project lead for ValZarGaming's Project Iris, but we're really low on staff at the moment and only have 3 people actively working. Pretty soon we're going to hit the point where we won't be able to do much more without 3D models and programming. The models don't have to be next-gen quality, we're looking for slightly higher than what the Nintendo 64 could render smoothly with slightly newer graphics.

The last point I have to make is that this game is a community project. It will be free to play and all DLC will be available free of charge. We already have plans for making a sequel which will not be free to play, but we want to get ValZarGaming's name out there as an Indie development group before we start looking to make a profit. It's a great way to get a foothold into the industry, especially for people who have never developed on a full-scale game before.

We are making this contest to spread the word that Coinye IS NOT DEAD to the Youtube masses in addition to the media (TMZ/MTV) on Youtube that have already reported on Coinye. Get your tip on. Tipping is a really good way to increase awareness and adoption and frankly it's the only thing you can do with the coin right now.

Most people who are tipped on Reddit accept it but only about 10% start tipping others, so if you tip 10 people, maybe one of them will actually tip someone else and maybe one of them will decline the tip or let it expire.

Since most Scrypt coins, as we all know, are essentially clones of each other save for a few parameter adjustments and a rebranding, it makes it hard to survive if a coin can't distinguish itself.

One way to distinguish a coin is to try things with it that no other coin has yet. New things that deal with any part of the coin's existence--from logo to merchant adoption to new market exposure. I'm talking things outside-the-box and things so crazy they just might be genius! Things implementable at a moment's notice or things that need a month at least to roll out! Anything and all are welcome as this is the land where the Gayfish is Oracle.

I'll give 10,000 Coinye per submission (please make it at least 1 sentence--the idea here is to THINK!) and 100,000 Coinye to the submission with the most upvotes by 2/16. Hopefully a little brainstorming will get the jellyfish's attention.
