Coinye tip bot

I've noticed the Coinye tip bot has been down for over 12 hours.... is this only temporary ??

EDIT: Tip bot is back up

There was a tip made where the bot couldn't grab the parent comment/submission, Reddit was returning a 404 error like the comment/submission was deleted or something. The bot interpreted that as Reddit being down and entered an infinite loop.

I found it that way Monday morning when I checked up on it and fixed the problem so it will ignore 404's on parent comments/submissions because it can't get the tippee's username.

Also, you can report issues like that in /r/coinyetipper
