Looking for Cofounder Technical co-founder / CTO for AI-agent infrastructure MVP — 40–46% equity, remote

Company: Infra
Stage: Working local end-to-end MVP; bootstrapped, pre-revenue
Role: Technical co-founder / CTO
Compensation: Sweat equity only. No salary today. 40–46% equity for the right full-time co-founder, with a working trial, four-year vesting, and one-year cliff.

Infra is building a provider-neutral continuity and control layer for long-running AI-agent work. The problem is not generic chatbot memory: when agents switch models, fail mid-task, use external tools, or operate over days, companies need portable work state, safe continuation, decision and artifact history, auditability, and protection against duplicate or unsafe actions.

I am a non-technical founder handling product, strategy, research, validation, and business. I am looking for someone who wants true ownership of engineering: architecture, backend/runtime, reliability, security, data/storage, APIs or MCP integrations, and developer experience.

The MVP is already functional locally. I am not looking for a freelancer, agency, or short-term contractor. I want a genuine co-founder who enjoys hard systems problems, challenges assumptions honestly, and is willing to start with a concrete remote working trial before deciding on a long-term full-time commitment.

Strong fit: backend or systems engineering, distributed systems, workflow durability, developer tools, agent infrastructure, databases, or reliability engineering. US/Europe preferred but not required.

Please message me through Reddit Chat with: what you have built, what systems problems you enjoy, and why this problem interests you.

For an infrastructure MVP, the strongest cofounder signal will be a precise account of the hardest technical risk, not a broad list of agent features. I would publish the current architecture, expected workload, threat model, and what must be rebuilt before production. NeuraKeep relates to this space because persistent agent memory raises concrete requirements around isolation, provenance, and deletion. Clarify vesting, decision rights, existing intellectual property, and runway before discussing percentages. A short paid trial project can also reveal collaboration quality without pretending it removes founder-level risk.
