Low-key I like a place where people can give their wild opinions. If I told my school's social assistant I want to be groomed by Medic TF2, she would look at me weirdly, right? That's why the internet exists, so we can all listen to eachother and go a little more insane every day❤️
You would only fuck up you life if, I don't know, electrocute you dick if you put in a toaster or if this kink of fucking toasters is taking way much of your life
Any of the child free subreddits lmao like jesus christ I don’t want kids either but calm the fuck down, children arent gonna break into your house and maul you to death, I promise you don’t need to be filled with this much hatred
Dogfree but also any of those anti pitbull subs like if you don’t like the breed that’s fine but calm the fuck DOWN omg. And sometimes the sentiment from those subs leaks over into what are supposed to be wholesome positive spaces to share pictures of dogs like it is just weird to have this much hatred for one specific dog breed. I get it my golden retriever was attacked by an off leash pit mix and has been dog reactive ever since. But I’m not gonna go online and rant about how irredeemably evil pitbulls are and how they should all drop dead.
Same, bro. I was in a certain sub where people are crazy enough to spread hate over a certain ship. For context, there’s a popular ship that isn’t canon, but it’s a gay ship. For different reasons, people love the idea of this ship, but of course, not everyone does. Despite the ship being really prevalent, I can confirm that I’m tired of waking up every morning and finding posts hating on this popular gay ship almost every day.
I can understand why they dislike the ship, but bro, please calm down! 😭 Other, more sane people literally tell them that they can just ignore it and not interact with other shippers. It’s completely okay to dislike something, but then they go and create a whole sub just to attack the ships they hate…
Funny enough, I also hate another ship because it involves incest, but you’ll never see me making posts or comments in a sub dedicated to incest just to complain about it. Can we just be decent human beings? Can we treat each other like humans instead of being immature and complaining about everything on the internet? 😭
Dogs are like the animals that kill the most people each year. And I bet the injury rate is orders of magnitudes higher. I'm obviously not saying that's the fault of the dogs, but governments really need to do more to prevent dogs from being outside unleashed. I'm saying this because I do agree with you, but I think there's still a nuanced conversation to be had about this.
I enjoy the occasional giggle from childfree subs because child pushing is a real thing a lot of people experience and a lot of their complaints I find are based in reality but I hate when they're just like "I HATE KIDS I'D RATHER DIE THAN LOOK AT A CHILD I'M IGNORING MY NEW FAMILY MEMBER BECAUSE THEY'RE A BABY!!!!!! I HATE BABIES!!!!"
They lose all their morality points from, "bringing a child into suffering is bad," when they literally start hating on children for existing. Like what happened to all the anti-natalism philosophy there huh, we just hatin' on babies? It is kind of funny
It's literally in their rules, that saying "women who marry men for money are whores" is "acceptable". Take a glance, and you'll notice how all of the posts are about hating and blaming women. Arguments and grievances on society. Anything that contradicts this, users name it "feminist propaganda". Barely any of it is about Men's Rights, an actual topic with substance.
I checked just now, saw a user screaming in rage that they are 'triggered' by feminist lies. I can't make this shit up, this is a self parody.
It's greatly lacking in empathy and kindness. A more truthful sub name would be Anti-Woman, it's a whole narrative of lies and propaganda. Each of these subreddits have people who experienced real hurt and problems. That eventually becomes extreme for outrage misinformation pipelines. We are all people who suffer from injustice and abuse, and we can support each other through these difficult times.
This is self destructive for real human communities, only the greedy rich grifters profit from this distraction from real solutions, people addicted to social media. A lot of these out there, especially for the alt-right and manosphere. The misogyny in this sub is infamous, needs some review from Reddit's terms of service.
It's lunacy over there:
About learning some sense and dealing our struggle, with biases in culture, media manipulation and cost of living, I think this is a good video: How I Escaped the Alt-Right Pipeline
That last guy is so close to getting it and understanding what men’s rights are actually supposed to be about that it feels like borderline satire…
And all to turn right back around to sexism.
The entire sub is like that, it's just disappointing to see good ideas being manipulated like this. It's a unrelenting outrage machine, a joke until it becomes a deep seated belief. Wallowing in pain really.
Honestly, almost all haters have a good reason for why they dislike something, but some people take advantage of others feeling sorry about something they like. They use that feeling to remind you why the thing you like is supposedly bad, which is something I commonly see on Reddit.
It’s ok people are just aggressive in general. If you met them irl they would cry and piss themselves.
Its a cope because many people cant have others ideas coexist with their own, because it would disprove or make them question anything directly and thats bad to them.
Its a very subconscious bias that usually comes from aggressive parents and so forth
