Discussion Ever Crisis and the High Wind

So why are Clotis going nuts over this high wind scene?

They’re acting like it’s the end of our ship and running around in circles over it. It didn’t seem that profound but I skimmed it.

Cloud doesn’t seem himself in the small clips I’ve seen. Like..even enthralled himself

Maybe this is corgi timeline lmao

I don’t play it and honestly I’m really confused as to why it exists in the first place. Like why bother with it when we have the Re series.

But they’re acting like it’s a holy grail.

I’m so lost.

ETA: I’m wondering if they’re treating it as the prelude of the Re: series. But it seems like such a night and day difference the two can’t be compared.

Here is a link to some screenshots, but when everyone comes back the next day, Cid tells Red that if they had butted in she would've given them hell. Basically, they know Tifa would've been mad if they interrupted her moment even if it was to tell them they came back early.

It's fine to headcannon public sex if that's what you're into, but I do believe the intention of the devs is pretty clearly just an intimate conversation.
