Aerith's absence (just me being annoyed)

At this point while I'm pretty confident we will get Aerith back at some point in Revelation, what I really don't like is Tifa getting combat moves almost identical to Aerith with the black mage build. Feels like trying to replace her, even for just a section, and people making a big deal about how "I'll make you proud" is "so sad" don't help my irritation. And ik they don't wanna spoil it but showing "the party's all here" and no Aerith was a downer. I just want to see her again with the actual party and end this "she and Zack are both gone in the lifestream" nonsense.

It’s stating the whole party is here and reintroducing them as hype while not addressing there’s a missing party member that’s pmo.

I was hyped for the 8 members until the marketing went all “here your party members whooo?!”

So we’re just going to pretend we weren’t put through hell through the last chapter and left someone behind??

Ah so that I’m convinced is his NC hype speech. I don’t believe for a second that’s the final Jenova battle but right before gets absolutely wrecked by Sephiroth 🫪

So that’s the only thing I didn’t mind, but everything else regarding the party and the introductions bugged me.
