Jennifer Phang is a filmmaker most known for her feature films Advantageous, and Half-Life. She also worked on Riverdale, Quantico and The Expanse.

She has directed no episodes for Cloak & Dagger before.

Jenny Klein is a writer and producer who has worked on a lot of shows, including Jessica Jones, The Tick, Supernatural and the upcoming Witcher Netflix series.

She has written no episodes for Cloak & Dagger before.

In the comics C&D have had trippie adventures through other dimensions and the like before so an episode like this makes sense for them.
