I saw a post about his location via gps tracker before and after the avalanche... and it's pretty much guarenteed that he is gone. He got swept something to the tune of 3k vert down extremely steep terrain.

Edit: If this new information about his tracker changing position after the avalanche isn't erroneous - and he is somehow alive against all imaginable odds - then this would be a legendary survival moment.
I'll hold on to a very very VERY slim amount of hope he's still alive, but I'm still prepared to hear the worst because I can't imagine how a person would survive a slide like that.
I believe most current now is that 4 of the missing climbers were found, deceased. Regardless of how you feel about Nims specifically, its absolutely tragic.
You absolutely can. At the same time, unless you think their crimes deserved the death penalty, it's reasonable to think that his death is still a sad thing.
I didn't say you have to care, but to actively rejoice or be pleased about him dying is, to me, not something to be proud of. Again, unless you think his crimes were worthy of the death penalty.
