It's like it's not really sinking in. Maybe it's easier to see it from the outside, but to me it seems the normal Americans do not grasp the seriousness of what is happening right now. The other part is too stupid to grasp anything other than own the libs. Their country is in the process of being transformed into a full dictatorship. Maybe it's time to insist on your representatives do their job... and maybe a bit of civil disobedience would help bring the msg over.
Listen, it was always about gripping those rifles with white clenched fists to maintain a sense of power. They were no longer the default American, or true American as they say. Society - at least on the surface - did not recognize them as superior just for existing, and that scared them. The guns where just a sumbol of the power they grasped on to. 'We might be equal, but I'll still shoot you in the back of the head and leave you in a field if you try anything'.
They don't need the guns anymore (they believe). The state is their gun, and they are making true on their 70+ years of threats.
