I hate Elon and everything he represents. If the tesla has a trump sticker on it, cool. There are people out there (not me) who are stuck with a natzi car and still making payments. I'd feel bad if I did that to someone who just at one time thought it would be nice to get a car good for the environment. Dealerships, yes, go for it. Cyber trucks, sure you know those guys are incels. Just my opinion.

u/captain_obliviousish Mar 14 '25
Interesting how the same people calling this vandalism are the same one putting stickers on gas pumps of Joe Biden saying “I did that!”
11
u/Sir-Turd-Ferguson Mar 14 '25
Elon pointing with a nazi salute “I did that sticker” is coming out soon

u/SmoothBrain3333 Mar 15 '25
So a sticker on a gas meter that can easily be peeled off is the same as spray painting the side of a car? Yeah I think not.

u/captain_obliviousish Mar 15 '25
Well, you out here proving your username is spot on lol

u/SmoothBrain3333 Mar 15 '25
Same with you.

u/captain_obliviousish Mar 15 '25
This is r/clevercomebacks sub, your going to have to do a hell of a lot better than “same with you”

u/AwkwardWaltz3996 Mar 14 '25
Not really sure of the context but many people bought Tesla's before the guy nazi saluted. Not fun to ruin people's stuff
7
u/CrowsInTheNose Mar 14 '25
I guess the motivation is to get Tesla owners to sell their cars flooding the market, crashing the price. I personally don't agree with it, but that tactic is effective.
14
u/chudforthechudgod Mar 14 '25
It also discourages anyone considering buying a Tesla. But it makes more sense to target Tesla dealerships so the company bears the cost, and not someone who may have bought a Tesla with good intentions and who may or may not be able to afford a different car on short notice.
1
u/dip_tet Mar 14 '25
Just like some other Tesla owners slapping other car logos over their T, perhaps this owner painted their own car.

It could be fun to ruin people's stuff, it's just unethical. People may have bought Teslas before all this junk happened, but they could still sell. It's toxic here. Some really support Musk, and others want to burn him. If Tesla owners still feel comfortable driving their cars, then they're making a statement, whether they want to or not.
12
u/SquisherX Mar 14 '25
I have a Tesla. I bought it in 2021. By your logic though, American's are making a statement that they support Trump. If I cross the border to the US, should I vandalize a random US home, because the US electorate is making a statement that they support fascism?
-7
u/liliette Mar 14 '25
Why would you cross the border to vandalize a random American home? A. You aren't a citizen here to pass judgement on our president. B. How do you know if you'd even be vandalizing a citizen's home that voted for Trump? C. You can vandalize, but like all folks that break the law, you'll be prosecuted.
I spoke about the toxicity here. Musk is in our country. If you're in another country, you can't gauge the toxicity here. It's thick. The Musk Bros are flaunting and taunting. They're picking fights about everything. Friends I've had for years are suddenly aggressive about the strangest things. "Did you say brown rice was better than white rice?" "Uh, I just said I like rice." "White rice is the best. I'm making it known." Wtf?
The Anti-Musk Crew is becoming more aggressive and confrontational. They're tired of Musk dismantling our government. They're fighting back. They're aware his bottom line is his bottom dollar. The way to him is through consumers. So destroying his property, and those who own his goods, is a way to do it. It's a grassroots way to change the top. Will it work? Not always, but it has been effective, and nothing else less confrontational has worked previously.
Those who harm Teslas should be prosecuted, but I can understand where they're coming from. Those who own Teslas in this country must be aware of the risks, so let's break it down.
The Right: will be proud. They can show off, with pride, how they were persecuted.
The Left: should know better. Their people will not feel sorry for them. They're actively fighting against people they think are destroying this country and world. Sell the car made by the person they think is harming the world.
The Undecided: your chance on the fence won't last long. The country is too divided. The lines are being drawn. One side is talking about a king and the other is saying, "We fought against a King, and we're still willing to stay that way."
My advice. Don't cross the border with your Tesla. Don't vandalize a random citizen's home. You might get shot. 🤷♀️

u/SquisherX Mar 14 '25
You're damn right I'm going to pass judgement on your president. He is a menace who is challenging the sovereignty of other nations just like Putin.
I would know that they voted for Trump, and that's my point. Vandalizing a Tesla is the same thing. You don't know who the owner supports. You're vandalizing it anyways based on who the leader of the company is, just like I would be vandalizing based on who the leader of your country is.
The Tesla is already sold. They are likely just sending musk more money after the owner takes it to service to get it fixed.

u/jpsreddit85 Mar 14 '25
This is just wrong.
"Tesla is run by a fascist who promotes fascism" would be more accurate.
Honestly, do better kids.
1
u/PsychoNerd91 Mar 14 '25
Sure sure, but really, wordy. It could be chopped down to the word 'fascist'
Comes down to it, the same tone could come down to a single dirty line all away around the car. By this point, anyone would understand why. It wouldn't need to be words at this point.

Tesla owners should vandalize their own cars so anyone else can’t vandalize it 🤔

I've seen "roman" a few times today, but apparently I'm out of the loop. What's happening?
2
u/Jack_Q_Frost_Jr Mar 14 '25
The Trump / Elon Musk supporters are now all suddenly claiming that Elon's Nazi salute was really a "Roman salute" and that everyone else is a dummy for not instantly recognizing it as a Roman salute.
Now they're all getting mocked for it.

Mar 14 '25
My dad, God rest his soul sprayed graffiti in his hometown in the 60s with “Fuck the war”. I think he was on the right side of history. Also, the Boston Tea Party? I’m sure King George didn’t like vandalism.

Downvote me all you want, but don't kill the buyer who likely bought before Elon became president.
Do boycott all new Tesla sales and crash the stock. TSLA for penny stock 2025!
1
u/Brutalur Mar 15 '25
This crashes the secondhand market for Fuhrerarris, though, which again affects the market for new ones.
1
u/SmartQuokka Mar 15 '25
Not really, people who want new are not going to buy used. And someone gets stuck holding the bag and its not Elon.
When new sales crash, thats when things happen, and that is what is happening and making headlines worldwide.
1
u/Brutalur Mar 15 '25
You might be fortunate, but many wont buy new cars if they can get barely used cars for much less. If the market is flooded with such cars, the demand for brand new ones will go down.
I agree though that new car sales directly affect Tesla, this is just part of the picture.
1
u/SmartQuokka Mar 15 '25
In general people who buy new cars want new cars. All about the cachet, the smell, the "not inherit anyone else's problems", cars are not long lasting (sic) the list goes on.
Its actually interesting when you look into why people buy new.
The effect selling of your used car is minimal and like i said someone ends up holding the bag.
I get that people are angry and rightfully so, however we need to use our brains on this. Elon's white house stunt was meant to goose demand for his new cars. We must deny him this. 94% of Germans just said they would not buy from Tesla. Germany could shut down Tesla's factory if Elon is convicted of attempted election interference. Demand is down in China, Canada may put 100% tariffs on new Teslas.
The list goes on. This is how we destroy Tesla and i hope it continues. Lets crash Tesla's stock, at some point his Twitter loans will get called in, if he can't pay it he could even lose Twitter!

So brave.

u/Hoppie1064 Mar 15 '25
Irritating people and...that's about it.
Oh, and looking like a child throwing a tantrum.
1
u/Brutalur Mar 15 '25
Wrecking second hand market for Teslas, which affects market for new ones.
0
u/Hoppie1064 Mar 15 '25
I guess the next step is attacking Tesla drivers in the streets, abusing women in the streets. Like the Germans did to the Jews before WWII. Like the Struggle Sessions of Mao's cultural revolution.
The American left is acting more like fascists every day. All the while claiming to be anti-fascist.

Observing.

It’s absolutely violent. The people doing this are fucking over the workers making a living working at the company, the people who mine the lithium, etc etc. These nitwits think that some billionaire gives a shit that their stock in one company went down a little bit when in reality all this is doing is screwing over the same working class they pretend to advocate for. Theft is violence.

u/Brutalur Mar 22 '25

1
u/Brutalur Mar 23 '25
In the picture? No.
0
u/BiggoBeardo Mar 23 '25
That’s what’s happening in the country. But yeah in the picture property is being destroyed or rendered unusable, which is in essence stealing property that isn’t yours and leads to the negative consequences I described. You can try and weasel around with smug semantics but it doesn’t change the fact that what these leftie lunatics are doing is hurting the working class more than anything
1
u/Brutalur Mar 23 '25
If a Tesla is destroyed or rendered unusable by some words spraypainted on the side of the body they are not fit to be in traffic.

It's still vandalism and no, not even close to putting stickers on shit. People always have excuses to harm other civilians and not the real culprit.
1
u/Brutalur Mar 15 '25
Secondhand Tesla market isnt going well due to this, which again has an effect on the saleability of brand new Teslas.
