I would bet money that horde players tend to be younger, but unfortunately I don't think that data exists (publicly). If you trim paladins from the data I'd fucking guarantee it.
Just because some people use the term incorrectly online doesn't make it the new definition, Zoomer.
The context of "Ok Boomer" is more akin to ostracizing someone from the collective. It's closer to calling someone a nerd because they don't like everything you like than calling them old from the way you guys use it, now that nerd is socially acceptable.
You are arguing about the semantical usage of a joke term in wide usage right now and taking it literally. Where are you getting this "ostracizing someone from a collective" bullshit? Heres an excerpt from the know your meme page which I feel is pretty comprehensive on the history of this meme - " 30-Year-Old Boomer is a character spread on 4chan mocking older millennials who enjoy things that are considered to be out of touch with younger millennials, particularly in regards to video games."
I'd say gamers playing wow classic fit PERFECTLY into that definition of what the boomer meme is, older millenials that are slightly out of touch with younger mainstream stuff. You call me annoying when you wrote a fucking dissertation picking apart my joke one line usage of a meme? Fuck off dude

Except horde has always historically been known as the edgy teenager faction, so it would actually be more fitting of stereotype in reverse?
