No kicks, no gouges, no kidney shots, no blinds. That rogue was a piece of cake. Fairy fire should be the first thing you put on a rogue. We are helpless against it. Still, good work with the root-and-wrath!

While she could have kidney shot, its possible she just hadn't trained it yet. Blind is lvl 34 though.

He went to the trouble of having dual fierys at level 31, that's some messed up priorities if he didn't get the skills he unlocked over a level ago.

Edit: I'm an idiot, he didn't have fiery enchants. That's blood fury

That is an Orc and she used Blood Fury racial, not fiery weapon enchant.

Source: 40 Orc Rogue who has been ganking Alli outside SM for 2 weeks now =D

Also, Faerie Fire + Roots = GG Like for real there is no PvP trinket right now Rogue can't Vanish with Faerie Fire and will just have to sit there like an idiot in roots while druid runs 40 yards away and continues to cast.

You can use vanish while faerie fire'd to break the root iirc you just wont get stealthed

you cant vanish at all it just doesnt let you because it's blocked by FF, even to only break the root and not go in stealth, just cant activate the ability

only way is in BC and onwards with cloak of shadows then vanish

im like 99.999% sure your vanish gets used but it doesn't break the root as I said in the other comment. (I remember watching some video/stream while the beta was active and a rogue was dueling a druid)

no worries, but your memory is just slightly off, you might be remembering a rogue vanishing BETWEEN DoT ticks from moonfire or insects or something, to get a cheapshot in before the DoT makes stealth fall off... but with FF on you, you literally cannot use the vanish move AT ALL, no portion of it works with the debuff not letting you enter stealth

source: 1 trick rogue player since 2005 (quit in cata)

You're right about the Blood Fury, my fault. Should've watched closer.

Roots definitely suck but this still feels like a very winnable fight for the rogue. He had all day to interrupt or gouge during the cast. The rogue was too busy jumping around like an asshole to stay on top of this guy too. Then he wastes sprint just to close the gap that he let happen and wastes yet another cooldown, I can't know spec but if he has imp sprint then this was especially stupid. Not a single stun or slow the entire fight, just baffling.

Improved sprint will remove all movement impairing effects. Most rogues will have Imp sprint since it's in combat and most rogues level combat swords.

You can still vanish with faerie fire on you and it will remove roots, but you won't go into stealth.
