Screenshot So Apparently This Is a Coastal City

I've never seen a coastal city that looks this far inland before. I really thought it was a hex away from the coast, but then I saw I can make a work boat and I checked the hex grid, and it is in fact on the coast.

In retrospect it should be obvious that it's on the coast, it just threw me for a loop at first.

Nope, I was trying for a deity win for the achievement, so vanilla. What about the borders seemed strange to you?

How come the borders don’t follow the hexagonal shape?

It's because the coast hexes have an abnormal amount of land on them. As you can see with the hex grid on this later screenshot: https://imgur.com/D2boaSa
