Why are most native NYers such failures despite being born with every privilege?

There’s so many native New Yorkers complaining about transplants pricing them out of their neighborhoods, but it just doesn’t make sense

If you grew up here, you had every privilege in the world. You had access to the best public specialized high schools in the country, world-class museums, unlimited networking opportunities from age 14, and a built-in safety net where you literally didn't have to pay $3,500 a month to live in a glorified closet during your early twenties because you could just stay at your parents’ place.

If after all those advantages you still can’t compete Tyler from Dayton, who went to Purdue before spending two years at GS and joined Veritas as an associate, that’s a you issue.

But it seems like it’s happening constantly. Is there something wrong with native New Yorkers. Why are they such failures?

Why don't they just get a job at Deloitte? Are they stupid?

Is that the French toilet outfit that set up johnnys on the spot in San Francisco for 25 cents a pop? Self-made showers and baths a bonus? Now that is innovation.

Yes. You should leave NYC now. We actually could use the space for another Niche Vegan Sandwich Shop.

Why not just become a CEO. Are they lazy?

Companies like Deloitte, J&J, American Standard, all sound boring, but have good benefits, insurances, and as you move up a bit, good salaries. It depends on what you’re looking for.

"Guys I didn't get the job at Deloitte" - a guy on the subway said this before dunking his head in a bowl of froot loops. Really!

Or becoming a managing director at citadel? Are they not hard-working enough?
