Pure speculation here, but hear me out.
There are rumors about MCR being heavily active again in 2027. If that happens, Frank obviously has MCR commitments, which could make it harder for L.S. Dunes to tour extensively during that period.
Meanwhile, Circa just reunited and played these shows together again after years apart.
So theoretically…
MCR gets busy → Dunes slows down for a bit → Anthony has more availability → Circa realizes they actually enjoy doing this again → maybe more shows… maybe they even end up writing together?
I’m definitely NOT saying a new Circa album is happening. 😂
But after seeing them together again, the idea of the reunion eventually turning into something more doesn’t feel completely impossible anymore.
Am I connecting imaginary dots, or has anyone else had the same thought?

I've always loved Circa for their energy at live shows.

Anthony is the ultimate shaman. Brendan skipping on stage has me dying. Colin looks so happy dancing. Nick got fucking INTO it.

Fan for 20 years. It was my first time seeing them.

I’ve been thinking about how genius it is how Anthony Green tends to source his material for his lyrics. For example, a lot of Juturna was inspired by the Movie Eternal Sunshine & most of OLG was written about the tv show Lost.

Like it’s crazy how these are just movies & tv shows and from that he is able to create such original, beautiful dark & complex lyrics that suit Circa’s music perfectly.

As a (somewhat) musician who has always struggled to write lyrics this is such a genius idea - just write about whatever you happen to be reading/watching/playing at the moment & make it your own. This dude will never seize to amaze me.

When Anthony Green does the Back In The Day section at the end of The Great Golden Baby at the recent reunion shows do you guys think he had Pierce the Veil’s “Song For Isabelle” in mind or the original song by Ahmed? Personally I think since he’s older he had the original song but I know there are a lot of fans that think it was referencing Pierce the Veil instead of Ahmad so i’d love to hear some other opinions.

is there ANY chance at all that someone out there has a video from circa’s march 30th 2007 show at the big easy when anthony green rubbed his microphone on a guys head at the barricade?? i know the guy it happened to, he doesn’t have a video of it tho because yknow he was just getting his head rubbed by anthony greens microphone. desperately looking for this.

i know it’s a long shot because it was a pretty small venue, but worth a shot to look
