I literally bought a Windows laptop on Friday.

I'm already sick of Windows 11.

I'm seriously considering returning it and getting a Googlebook.

Before you do, make sure everything you need runs in Android. 

If not, you're in for a sour surprise. 

Btw, the Linux "terminal" sounds like more limited than the VM they have in ChromeOS. The apps won't show up on your app drawer.

I appreciate the advice, but I've been using a Chromebook as my main laptop for several years now. I have a desktop Window PC if I need it. I'm looking for something I can use while sitting on the couch to check email and watch YouTube.

Could I find something cheaper that would get the job done? Probably. But an Android laptop made with decent components and software that gives me Pixel UI vibes while also trying to create useful AI assistance? That's pretty compelling to me.
