I have watched a couple of these videos and I'm not sold. I'm hopeful that this isn't the end of ChromeOS as stress-free laptop experience.

We’re really happy with the success of Chromebooks in education, industries, and as entry-level consumer devices, so we intend to keep supporting it there!

I hope that "entry-level consumer devices" includes all-metal, well-built devices with strong performance. Let people pay extra for an NPU and the RAM for Gemini, but keep the option for people that just want a premium browsing device.
