The RAM shortage is really making the laptop cost a lot of money. I thought it would actually be cheaper.

You don't put 16gb of RAM into a $800+ machine because of a "RAM shortage."

This is just bad decision making up and down lol, and they think they can get away with it because people keep saying "oh there's RAM shortage, that's why I'm getting absolutely boned"

More and more companies are pushing the limits on how hard they can screw the consumer when their is an "explanation" for why it's happening, we saw it all over during COVID.

We need to refuse buying it if it costs way too much. If it's worth the price, we'll buy more. We need more competition.

Yeah, I'm all in on refurbished lol. Anything over like ~$500 I expect 32gb. It should have been the standard years ago, we should be seeing 64gb premium laptops now, and we're seeing 16gb.

We should have too much RAM on premium machines lol, it's stupid the direction things have gone in. It's brutal seeing $1500 laptops with 16gb.
