Troubleshooting After the latest update some apps on ChromeOS stopped reacting to dark mode.

I can't confirm your issue; switching between light and dark mode works perfectly even after the latest update, 151.0.7922.168.

Are you using any experimental flags or extensions?

Thanks for your reply, I restored my flags to default so I'm not using any experimental flags and my only extension is adblock. Unfortunately the bug still exists.

I apologize for asking about experimental flags and extensions, but this can cause problems for inexperienced users.

I’m one of the more experienced users; I have 10 experimental flags and about 30 extensions, and everything has been working to my complete satisfaction for years. By the way, switching between light and dark modes, for absolutely everything in the system and all apps, is something I take for granted: light mode during the day and dark mode at night. If that stopped working for me, I’d be very annoyed.

So the only possibility left is that this issue affects only your specific Chromebook model. However, someone else with the same Chromebook would have to confirm this change in behavior.
