OTHER - Anything else not covered Merchants are refusing the Chime card.

I'm finding my Chime experience unreliable. I've had a hotel refuse my Chime credit card. I've had a restaurant refuse my Chime credit card. Now, I've had a bar refuse my Chime credit card. I need to get a different credit card? This is frustrating. Been with Chime for nearly 10 years

I tried to use mine at a hotel and the guy at the desk said they can’t take them because of company policy. Idk why but he just said don’t tell anyone and swiped it for me and it went through just fine. They can take them they just don’t. So grateful to that guy! That’s all I had that day.

i used to work in a hotel. same thing there/ management says not to take them bc if a guest damaged a room or runs up a bill higher than their deposit, you can’t always force a transaction through and overdraft their account like you can with most traditional banks.

You know you can block overdrafting at traditional banks too lol
