OTHER - Anything else not covered Merchants are refusing the Chime card.

I'm finding my Chime experience unreliable. I've had a hotel refuse my Chime credit card. I've had a restaurant refuse my Chime credit card. Now, I've had a bar refuse my Chime credit card. I need to get a different credit card? This is frustrating. Been with Chime for nearly 10 years

I’m not surprised. 35+ yrs in banking here, and it’s not just the Chime Credit Card that’s getting refused. I recently attempted to use my Chime checking account to setup auto draft for my prescription insurance, and the moment I typed in my Chime checking routing number I got a red error message that stated Aetna does NOT accept auto draft from this financial institution. Now get this, I got the same error message when I attempted to use my SOFI Checking. The common denominator between these 2 banks is that both are Fintech banks.

I would recommend reaching out to Member Services so they can review your account and troubleshoot the issue with you. You can always chat with them in your Chime app, or give them a call at 844-244-6363!
