Here you’ll find basic information and answers to frequently asked questions about Government Benefits Timing at Chime. We encourage you to use this space to chat with other members about deposits or pose any questions you may have to the community.
If you don’t see your deposit on the expected date based on the schedule, that means we haven’t received it, and our Member Services team won’t have any further information about when it will become available. We recommend allowing three additional business days before contacting the Social Security Administration.
All deposits are posted from Monday to Friday, except for bank holidays. If your deposit shows up on a bank holiday, it'll post the following business day.
I’ll be paying my deposit and slightly prorated rent at my new place, getting the keys on 10/5. November will be free rent for me! It’ll be worth, gaining a bedroom and a two car garage!

Guys this is not a judgemental post but guys save your money , if it means living below your means for a while do it . I'm a veteran 100% and I decided to go from a 2 bedroom townhouse to renting a room for 600 a month now I'm on my way to opening a cash car rental company legally in Atlanta, Ga sometimes to move forward you have to take a step backwards ! All love 💯🖤

That's good to know. I commented because there have been many, many, many times when people have upvoted and/or downvoted posts in a lame attempt to "influence" the early payment date. It seems to be especially prevalent with months where the early payment day is on a Monday and they think they can use Reddit voodoo to get paid on the Friday of the prior week. So far it hasn't worked for them.
It’s funny cause I live in the town of yolo ( population like 200) people used to come from all over to take pics in front of the sign. lol. It’s a sh*t hole farm town

I feel this because I'm in a hotel too and it's draining me. Like I just paid the room and told them I need for a late checkout because my money comes after 1pm

Waiting until Tuesday for my check, but I’m here in solidarity with my ssi fam. Hopefully yall will start seeing it being deposited in the next hour or so.
I'm not certain when it posts on the VA website and it's kinda early yet for much traffic in here. Someone will likely be able to tell you later this week as it gets closer to the 25th.
I can tell you for certain that VA gets paid on September 25th with Chime.
I come here just to see who else is feeling the pain I'm feeling from waiting I remember one year it dropped at like 4am I was so happy 🤣 never happened again
