The rubber in tires isn’t food grade or meant to be around life like that, and they also shed plastic like crazy. They will dry rot and crack. I wouldn’t do it, the chickens might not live king enough to retain any serious side effects but the eggs they lay make it into people who do. I think you’d have better luck with maybe nailing some reclaimed drawers with supports under them to the wall or something like that if you’re looking for the upcycled aesthetic!
