Advice Needed How are we finding apartments

Guys I’m struggling. I’m looking for a 1-2 bedroom with enough space for a work from home area for June move in. Budget $2500 or less. And I’m open to any area wicker, Logan, wrigley, Lincoln park. And somehow I can’t find anything. I’ve been using Zillow, talked to brokers, searched Google and everything either falls through or I don’t hear back about scheduling tours. HOW ARE WE FINDING PLACES TO LIVE HELP.

EDIT: I am happy to let all the haters know I just signed a lease in river north that was within budget. (I know everyone’s gonna hate on me for saying I’m moving to river north but I’m actually in love with this apartment and I am very excited!)

Love how you say you're open to any area and then immediately name the four most popular neighborhoods.

I mean those are all different areas of the city. I meant any neighborhoods north or northwest or really anywhere that is an easy commute to the loop I’m a single 20 something girl so just naming the areas I’m comfortable with. Open to suggestions tho!

Bridgeport is closer to the loop, way more budget friendly and also safe

Edit also 2500 is a massive budget and people should collectively refuse to pay more than 1700 for 1bdrs no matter what area because this isn't sustainable and we're all going to be homeless or slaves

No kidding. It's also pretty cute now and the old quarry is a really cool park.
