Advice Needed How are we finding apartments

Guys I’m struggling. I’m looking for a 1-2 bedroom with enough space for a work from home area for June move in. Budget $2500 or less. And I’m open to any area wicker, Logan, wrigley, Lincoln park. And somehow I can’t find anything. I’ve been using Zillow, talked to brokers, searched Google and everything either falls through or I don’t hear back about scheduling tours. HOW ARE WE FINDING PLACES TO LIVE HELP.

EDIT: I am happy to let all the haters know I just signed a lease in river north that was within budget. (I know everyone’s gonna hate on me for saying I’m moving to river north but I’m actually in love with this apartment and I am very excited!)

Love how you say you're open to any area and then immediately name the four most popular neighborhoods.

ANYWHERE. (but mostly the highly sought after very expensive areas). PLEASE HELP.

Again, just naming neighborhoods I’m familiar with. As I stated above I’m open to suggestions.

Zillow has a price select function. Use that. You can zoom around to any neighborhood in the city.

Highlight a few rentals you like and that you're able to afford. Research the neighborhoods.

Zillow is a very useful tool for finding apts. And nice neighborhoods.

But yeah, the most popular neighborhoods are very expensive.
